Driving Instructor Training
There are plenty of driving instructor training providers around but not all are of the same standard – so get the facts – you are investing in your future.
Fact 1:
YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL! You are investing in a career change so make sure you choose your instructor training provider very carefully. With Quicksilver there are no hidden extras, there is no “small print” to consider and no complicated contracts or costly long term financial commitments to worry about.”
Fact 2:
According to DSA figures, on a national basis only around 26% of trainee instructors successfully complete the course and qualify. You therefore need a top quality training school – see fact 3 below…”
Fact 3:
Compared with the national average pass rate of 26%, at Quicksilver WE CURRENTLY HAVE A 92% PASS RATE overall, and a 100% PASS RATE for trainee instructors who complete all three parts with us– need we say more ?”
So....why choose Quicksilver?
Quicksilver are ORDIT Registered- not all trainers are.
ORDIT is the DSA’s Official Register of Driving Instructor Training. The purpose of the ORDIT Register is to ensure that high standards of both Instructor Training and general business practices are maintained to the DSA’s requirements.
But it doesn’t stop there. At our latest DSA inspection Quciksilver maintained the highest possible ORDIT rating – Grade 6, so your training is guaranteed to be of the highest quality. Indeed, several of our trainees have come to us from larger organisations in order to successfully complete their training.
Small, Personal and Local
At Quicksilver we do things properly. We are a small, established driving school covering the North West (East Lancashire, Rossendale, Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Bolton and North Manchester). You are guaranteed the personal attention of the same top grade Driving Instructor Trainer throughout your course and will receive your training when you want it. You will not be just another “number” in a big organisation.
Instructor training is flexible to suit your current work commitments – you can take your time or “fast track” to suit your circumstances.
Whenever you talk to us, you are talking to senior management and therefore get results fast. In addition because we’re local to the North West we know how to help you succeed as an instructor in your local area using our experience within the industry.

“I completed my Part 3 training with Quicksilver and found them to be very professional, friendly and full of hints and tips. They went above my expectations and I would definitely recommend them.
I started my training with a different organization but changed to Quicksilver for my part 3. I’m very happy I did as their level of instruction was way beyond what I had expected and experienced from my previous instructors.
Quicksilver were faultless in their training. They helped me every step of the way and were always happy to help on the phone or on a one to one basis. I’ve already recommended them to other potential driving instructors.”

“Like many others I started my Instructor Training with one of the big national companies – Mistake! Once they had my money up front I felt I was just one of a number. In desperation I looked for a local trainer and was lucky enough to find Quicksilver. At last I had found someone who was professional and reliable! John allowed me to develop my own style. He was patient and very supportive. If you’re thinking of training to be a driving instructor you need expert tuition to get through to being qualified and that’s what you get with Quicksilver. I’ve my own driving school now and I’m sure that wouldn’t have happened without John’s help. Thanks Quicksilver!”
